South park - planning approved!
The plans for Southpark skatepark came before the borough planning commitee today and we have just had word that the commitee approved the plans! This follows a couple of weeks of nail biting work by MSPG to support the project to help appease local concerns. Also enormous thanks to Cllr Maurine Radford who spoke in support of the project, and who apparently, in her day, was pretty tidy on rollerskates.

do we know when the skate park will be finished by, like just a rough guess ?
do you know if it will be finished for summer ?
4 months give or take a month. 2-3 wks to sort legal stuff, contracts etc, 2-3 months to build it (weather dependent), 1 month for concrete to cure... so mid summer?!
