Huge bad news. We're gutted for everyone who put in the time building and tending these jumps. We'll try and find out why and by who this decision was taken and post it up here.

It may be a shame for you but it's not for residents. Having been someone who lived on Westbury for a while and having to put up with all the kids digging up the fields was bad enough, but its the people themselves that let themselves down. A normally quiet area was then ruined by screaming kids, their utter constant fowl language that would make the devil blush not to mention like the article says, the litter, the damage and the late night congregating preventing residents sleeping.
So perhaps if people actually conducted themselves in more of a considerate manner, then residents would not complain to councils and police and have these thigns buldozed on numerous occasions.
We are a collection of skaters, boarders, BMXers, inliners, MTBers and others who are committed to improving the facilities for all these sports in the Macclesfield area.
We have formed Macclesfield Skate Park Group (MSPG) to put on events, hassle the council and generally raise the profile of the sports in the area.
Have we missed one? then add your own spot to the map!!
Next meeting
We usually meet in The Porters on Mondays around8pm (every 2 or 3 weeks). Its always best to check the website, or call one of the group to see if its on.
NEXT Meeting Now on Tuesday 21st June, 8pm The Porters
